Hadith About Women
‘Abdullah b. Amr reported Allah’s Messenger (saw) as saying:
“The whole world is a provision, and the best object of benefit of the world is the pious woman.”
[Sahih Muslim Book 008, Hadith Number 3465]
“Among His signs is that He created for you mates from among yourselves, in order to have tranquility with them and He put love and mercy between your (hearts) : verily in that are signs for those who reflect.”
[Surah Ar-Rum 30:21]
It was narrated from al-Mugheerah ibn Shu’bah that he proposed marriage to a woman, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said,
“Go and look at her, because that is more likely to create love between you.”
(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 1087; classed as hasan by al-Nasaa’i, 3235)
The Prophet (may peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“The most perfect believer in faith is the one whose character is finest and who is kindest to his wife.”
Ibn Abbas reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
“We do not see for those who love one another anything like marriage.”
